About IYOGA Fest

About the Iyengar Yoga Festival

The Iyengar Yoga Festival (formerly Yoga Camp) was founded by Iyengar Yoga teacher Rachel Lovegrove in response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The vision was to create a space where Iyengar Yoga students could reconnect, practice deeply, and build a sense of community.

The event has grown over the years, with guest teachers including Uday Bhosale, Lin Craddock, Hannah Lovegrove, Edgar Stringer, and Lydia Holmes.

In 2024, the event expanded to a larger venue at YMCA Fairthorne Manor Park, offering more space and exciting new activities. This year, we are delighted to welcome Jayne Orton and Garth Mclean as special guest teachers.

What to Expect:

  • Daily yoga workshops led by renowned teachers, suitable for all levels

  • Indepth study sessions to deepen your understanding

  • Entertainment: Live music, guided walks, and opportunities for river sports

  • Relaxation: Chill out areas and onsite massage treatments.

  • Connection: Meet like-minded yoga enthusiasts from all over the UK and Europe, and all walks of life.

Fairthorne Manor Park provides 95 acres of private grounds, access to the River Hamble, and modern accommodations. Whether you choose to camp, glamp, or stay in a cozy indoor room, you’ll find a perfect setting to unwind and connect.
